About Us

Deborah Ingham Funeral Service was set up in October 2005 in Lepton by Debbie, helped by her father David. In 2016, new premises in Milnsbridge were brought, so that the company could expand, and services and functions could be offered in-house. To date, we are now a third generation. independent, mother and daughter firm, across the two premises. We are available 24 hours a day, with at least one of us at the end of the phone.

Debbie has been a Qualified Funeral Director since 1997, starting out at a large company. In 2005, she saw an opportunity to start up her own Funeral Service. With the help of her father David completing the Administration side, she was able to become Independent. Debbie is still the face of the company and lives on our premises in Milnsbridge. In 2016, her daughter Kayleigh became the third generation of the family firm.

Kayleigh joined the Funeral Service in July 2016, to become the Office Administrator. She is responsible for the day to day running of the Lepton branch. Kayleigh has completed her Diploma in Funeral Services, making her now a Fully Qualified Funeral Director alongside Debbie. Kayleigh is also the Public Relations Officer and an Examiner for the British Institute of Funeral Directors.

Graham is Debbie’s husband and joined the company full time in July 2023 as our Fleet Manager and Funeral Service Operative. Graham passed his Certificate in Funeral Practitioner, with the view to complete his Diploma in Funeral Practitioner and qualifying as our company embalmer in the near future.

Rebecca (Becki) is Debbie’s youngest daughter. Although her main career is as a Carer, Becki comes into our Lepton Office once a week to help with any administration duties and to keep the office clean. You may also see her on the occasional funeral and helping out when we have events at our Milnsbridge branch.
